"I've been looking back on the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" reference I've used in reviews, and, well, it's ain't broke, so why not use it again…especially when it applies to a lovable series that's been embraced so well by fans. Toys For Bob produced Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure last year for Activision, and it sold to a whopping effect, creating a new fanbase for the long-time Spyro series while at the same time generating startling sales for figures, which you place on an interactive portal to "inject" into the game. It was only a matter of time before we saw the inevitable sequel (it is Activision, after all), and lo and behold, here's Skylanders Giants, a game that pretty much follows the traits of the first game."
