Call of Duty Elite service now free; DLC sold separately

Activation has removed the DLC offers within its Call of Duty Elite service and will now be offering the online game platform for free.

Commencing with the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, the Elite platform will offer all the online services at no extra cost.

The full range of DLC for Black Ops 2 will now be available through a 'season pass'; a map-pack bundle of four packages available for 4000 Microsoft Points (about $50).
