WWE, or WWF as I knew it back in the day, has not really changed a lot over the years, it is still full of multi-plot, in-depth and complex story lines that have developed over the years and even tie in to plots of yesteryear. And for this reason the first mode I jumped into was WWE 13s story mode, Attitude Era.

Attitude Era sees you take part in classic matches from the WWE and WWF franchises. It starts out with the formation of DEGENERATION X (DX). In the first match you play as Shawn Michaels taking on the legendary Mankind.
