Yep I remember seeing some of the earliest concept art for Dishonored and hearing that the art director of Half-Life 2 was working on it and being excited.
And you are absolutely right, each of those games (HL2 and Dishonored) has a distinct art style that stands the test of time.

Ouch, already placing a sales cap on this is potentially bad as these games never seem to sell all too well. Hopefully the budget is in check so no one gets laid off after launch.

Really good review! This game is gonna be one of those games overlooked by consumes but a critical success.
If its anything like the experience I had with the first Bioshock ill be buying this.
The thing I really liked about Dishonored when I tried it was that it gave the player loads of choices. Its visuals weren't especially impressive but I'll take greater options over better visuals.
