Structure Gaming: Since the earliest days of gaming, there have been sports games. But not all franchises have met the standard set by us the consumers. For example, 2K Games has yet to make a solid baseball game. But one franchise has stood out since 1993. This franchise has continuously evolved and every August, becomes the new standard. This game even has a fabled curse which follows the cover athlete of that chosen year and once has seen the same cover athlete twice (after coming out of retirement in 2009). The Madden football series has been, over the past twenty seasons, the most solid and reliable title in sports. But these past few years, it’s gone stale on us.
