Resident Evil 6 PC Version was Not Started Until Console Versions were Finished

Well, it looks like us PC folk won't be playing Resident Evil 6 with our mouse and keyboard any time soon. According to a forum post by Capcom's Christian Svensson, the PC version of the survival horror game was not started "until after the console versions were complete, submitted, approved by console 1st parties to use that final codebase as the starting point." And now we wait.
