Axton is a former military man, forced to run for his life after being discharged and put on the short list for execution. Stealing a Dahl transport and heading for the hills, Axton ended up in Pandora, lying low lest he be picked back up and returned for justice. In Borderlands 2, Axton serves as the Commando player class.
