i'll still be buying a physical copy of borderlands 2

I got 2 PS3s in my house. If I buy it off PSN, I can game share an have it on both systems.

Does anyone know if I buy it off PSN, will it include the "Premier Club"? I really don't want to miss out on those extras.

Blacktric4332d ago (Edited 4332d ago )

Isn't Premier Club essentially just a code that comes with the game's package? If so then you should receive it automatically with the game. I downloaded Dead Space 2 from PSN a while ago (thanks to PS Plus) and I didn't have to do anything extra to be able to play multiplayer including entering a code or downloading an extra online pass. Also if you look at the name of it, it says Borderlands 2 (HDD). So I think it should have the Premier Club included with the game itself. But I'd still ask about this on Gearbox forums just in case.

According to the www.borderlands2.com website, only certain retailers offer the Premier Club with a preorder. It varies from region to region but PSN was not listed as one of those in the US.

of buying a full AAA game from the PSN.

I could never justify doing this before, but yeah....this would officially be a decent reason.

it just might take up a lot of room

@BringingTheThunder

Is the x360 version on multiple DVDs?

CalvinKlein4332d ago

It probably wont be that many GBs. Im not sure but I remember the full install of borderlands 1 was only like 3.5 GBs on 360.

You have to pre-order on PSN to get it, but says you will if you do so

J_Cob4332d ago (Edited 4332d ago )

My friend and I use gamesharing all the time. Saves us a lot of money. Just recently he bought MGS: Peace Walker and we gameshared it to do CO-OPs. Good times.

Why would anybody buy a digital copy of a game if it is the same price as the disk copy? Since you can trade or sell the disk back, and get some of your money back. So you would actually be paying a lot more just to buy the digital version.

mushroomwig4332d ago

You could buy the digital copy and then game-share it with another PS3 and then you can both play online together without needing two copies.

Jet Set Radio and Borderlands 2 please...

TrendyGamers4332d ago

Borderlands 2 will be taking up the majority of my time next week.

Robotronfiend4332d ago

Just for the week? ;-) It's going to eat my brain for at least a month. I'll probably rotate between Borderlands 2, XCOM, and Tekken Tag 2 all the way through November.
