IGN:
Chances are, you’ve likely been turned off by a fighting game in the past what with the thousands of combos to memorize, strategies to learn, and teams to experiment with. And most of them don’t particularly care if you are into their particular brand of brawling. Tekken Tag Tournament 2, however, attempts to be different. It wants you to learn how to play it. It wants you to spend countless hours mastering its timing, tooling around with its dozen of characters, and making it your own. There’s a slight problem, though: It doesn’t make any of that terribly easy.
Bandai Namco is considering working on a remastered version of its 2011 fighting game, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, for modern platforms.
Would be nice to see a fighting game releasing with the complete roster for a change …
Carlos writes: "With Gamescom having just gone and Halloween starting to appear on the horizon, it can only mean that ‘the horror-days are coming’. Man of Medan and Blair Witch are now both here to scare the living daylights out of all who dare come near, and so it’s hard to think you should be focusing on anything else. But let’s not get hasty as first of all we still have all those free games to look through courtesy of the Xbox Games With Gold program for September 2019. So let’s dive straight in and see whether or not you should be bothering with the latest batch of Xbox Games With Gold freebies."
To be honest getting Hitman for free is really good. That game has so much replayability.
"Hitman raises his head" What a terrible and poorly written title for an article.
Damn. Blair Witch, hitman(i had on ps4) and then gears 5 in a few days? Gamepass Ultimate is cool af
Major Nelson: "For the month of September, Xbox Live Gold members will receive four new free games - two on Xbox One and two on Xbox 360."
That is a horrible month. Hitman is the only good thing there and it just left Game Pass. They are giving you a cheap $5 game which I think is a new low for them. Then you have the third EDF game on GWG this year and it isn't even good. Tekken Tag 2 was given to all Xbox players during E3 a couple years ago. Microsoft continues to show that they are just trying to push people to Game Pass and have given up on this service.
welp the xbox 360 games are better than the xbox one games this month, was hoping for more.
this review is poorly written.
i doesn't mention the improved net-code{he said it he had problem with it],he failed to mention the ending for each character,he clearly doesn't know how to play fighting games and his issues aren't very legitimate and the list goes on and on.
it's ok to have an opinion, but i hope i you can support it.
play the game yourself and judge.
Ign gave it a 7.5 for its "inaccessibility". Though I agree noobs can't grasp it as easily than long time fans. And honestly, that should be a + not a - the thing I noticed in fighters that are "Open to newcomers" tend to ruin the experience for vets. By the way SCV is a great example.
Why should a vet work his ass off in the training lab just to lose to a kid who smashes buttons and grabs like crazy because hes frustrated that he can't learn the game?
No the fighting Genre needs to be hard to master forget newcomers they ruin the fighting experience and the competition as a whole with there "I don't care to learn the game" attitude "so I'm a make this the worst experience for real fighters online and the competition." Look what happened to SCV, nobody takes that games competition seriously anymore.
People are already saying the fighter genre is the least skilled genre (Imo FPS is right on the fence)opening it up to noobs proves them right.
This review sucks so much. Basically its somehow a bad thing that we get so much content and fight lab mode sucks because it doesn't let you win without trying.
Not to mention completely overlooking the AMAZING soundtrack, 49 cgi endings, being able to customize music for stages/select screen and of course the flawless online mode.
Where do they find these guys?
Edit: I think this I refuse to learn the game because I dont care to learn attitude is the biggest load of bullshit ever.. What other genre of game do you buy and just mash buttons blindly without taking a minute to learning the basic controls? Its not about being a "pro", simply taking 10 minutes in practice mode to read a few moves from the list and try them out is already a big step to getting good.
In fact, why buy the game at all if you cant be bothered to play it?
i agree with FEARprototype, this game is gonna rock, i hope the online is much better now, will get my copy this week
nothing wrong with this game , and U gave it 7.5 because of the menu lol.
this game is awesome , Im not a tekken fan , but TTT2 should have more than 7.5 , 8.5 or a 9.
give a try guys ^^
