GoDaddy Down, Anonymous Responsible?
Noble Press: Monday September 10th, GoDaddy domain service provider went down causing a massive outage for millions of its users. Most of these users happened to be small businesses and organizations that rely solely on their website to do business through online transactions and email services. Anonymous affiliate @AnonymousOwn3r has claimed responsibility for the GoDaddy outage and continues to tweet regarding this matter. Users are showing a range of reactions such as “f*ck you dude. seriously” from Mr @willarkatone and “Proof of YOU doing the attack =?” from @Bitchiest. Sources say that Anon’s reason for doing this could stem back to GoDaddy’s support of SOPA during its legal roundabouts that occurred not too long ago. Others believe that this could be completely unrelated to Anonymous at all and this is just a chance for them to gain some press. At any rate, it seems that GoDaddy is getting things under control now per their twitter feed. “We’re continuing our work to get back on track. This is our #1 priority. We’ll keep posting updates here. Thanks for all the support.” @GoDaddy…
