In the past few years the Persona series, and the Shin Megami Tensei brand by extension, has risen from obscurity to become one of the top RPGs to come out of Japan. As sad as I am to say it, gone are the days when each Final Fantasy release meant a fantastic new adventure. Now is the time of Persona, with its quirky characters, deep stories, and cool mysteries. While I love the Persona games for what they are, I can’t deny that I hope some changes are made in the fifth entry which is currently in development. Below are the five changes that I want to see in Persona 5.

The Persona / Shin Megami Tensei cosplay gathering allowed fans of the acclaimed JRPG series to meet up during FanimeCon 2024.
Since its release in 2016, the "Persona 5" series has won numerous game awards around the world and received enthusiastic support from everyone, with cumulative sales of over 10 million units worldwide.
In the world of video games, there’s no genre quite as notoriously difficult to get into as the Turn-Based RPG. Lets review a few RPGs you can play if you’ve tried the biggest and best in turn-based combat and never found it appealing.
Sea of stars while seeming pretty good so far doesn't belong in the top rpg discussion. There's way better ones. I'd tell them to play star ocean 2. One of the best non turn based rpgs ever. It has everything.
The Legend of Dragoon, Legend of Legaia, or the Shadow Hearts games has decent enjoyable turn based combat system.
i hope we'll see a ps vita version
Hope for it being PS3 or 4 exclusive. Might not sell as well as it would a multiplat, but it would sell consoles.
On topic, can't wait for P5! I downloaded the game on PSN just a little over a month ago, and I've already put in 40+ hours, and still loving it. Can't also wait for P4G!
I agree with deeper relationships and I wouldn't mind some more cool cameos like the one with Yukiko in Persona 3 Portable. But the rest can stay out of persona if only for the reason that every minute they spend improving those is a minute that could be concentrating on the core of the game and adding more holiday events, special outings, or interesting social links so you don't get stuck with a couple that feel like terrible filler.
I don't want to see Persona's game run time cut down to 15 hours because they tried to "AAA" it up for no good reason and couldn't afford to keep length and improve in every area.
After the convenient "Pick up and play" experience that was P3P, I'm almost willing to get a vita for Golden alone, I'm hoping that P5 will have a Vita version as well.
