Activision Talks New Bond, Call of Duty 5 On PS3, Xbox 360

"Activision has stated that there is nothing going on right now with a Goldeneye 007 game, that they have knowledge of anyways. This goes against past rumors that a remake of Goldeneye 007 was going to hit the Xbox Live Arcade. For those who do not know. Goldeneye 007 as a huge first-person-shooter for the Nintendo 64. They stated that a deal such as that would be fully between Microsoft and Nintendo.

They have stated though that "Our own Bond game however, from Treyarch is powered by the same technology that made CoD 4."

This means that the new next-gen Bond game will run on the same engine that ran the incredible Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

Activison also stated that Treyarch is currently working hard on Call of Duty 5, saying it is "coming along very nicely." "
