Video game sales up in North America
The figures are in for the holiday season from NPD, a market research firm.
Video game related sales in the U.S.A. are up 43 per cent over the previous year. Gaming has hit an all time high of $17.9 billion in sales. In Canada the sales are also up by 33 per cent from the previous year. With all the consoles having a bigger installation base this year should see the software sales reach another milestone.
