GameXplain: "When it comes to video games, most players are only interested in the gameplay. Is it fun? Does it engage me? And that is by far the most important element to be found. But gameplay isn't the only thing that can pull a player into the game's world. Storytelling is still considered to be weak in the industry, but that hasn't stopped developers from trying to create epic storylines across multiple games. Each one builds upon the previous games until you have a meticulously crafted world or a convoluted mess. In some cases it can actually be both. You may absolutely love the franchise, but there's no denying that it makes no sense without really digging into the mythos. So with that in mind, let's take a look at five of the most convoluted game franchises we've come across."
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 Remix is filled with beloved games that many people have nostalgic memories of. What exactly gives 100% completing a game value, though? If you come away from it not feeling accomplished, was it just wasted time?
A new rating of Resident Evil 6 for Xbox has been spotted, which could suggest that it's getting a current gen port for Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
I loved Resident Evil 4 back in the day and enjoyed Resident Evil 5 even though I had to do co-op to beat the final boss. Shiva was just too dumb.
Resident Evil 6 on the other hand, was so bad that I stopped playing after an hour in the game. That was before I even played any high-quality single-player games outside of Mass Effect, Portal, and Skyrim. I can't imagine playing RE6 now.
Chances are their next remake will be 5.
I just don't get why it's already on the platforms via BC unless it's a remake which would piss everyone off as fans are hoping for either the original game or code veronica to get the remake treatment
The Wonderful World of Disney has brought along many great characters in the Kingdom Hearts series.
Kingdom Hearts seems so fitting after that epic timeline series
yay!
I have to disagree on MGS cutscenes taking AWAY from the experience i'm afraid.
MGS doesn't give a crap about current trends etc, it tells the story and ideas it wants to tell, and those cutscenes over the years made its characters substantially deeper and more memorable than almost every other franchise.
If MGS had non-story's and mini COD-esque cutscenes, i might not have let tears slip out when Snake was on his knees about to pull that trigger in 2008...
MGS? No, wrong. Pay attention to the games. I'll be sure never to read this site's opinions again.
-Notice MGS getting attention
-Write article bashing it
-???
-Hits.
troll pseudo gaming journalists are the worst.
