GamerSpot.net – What if Fallout were a Kairosoft game?

GamerSpot.net writes, "This game would feature gameplay very similar to Game Dev Story, with the player being in control of a military base. In that base, the player would need to allocate resources to development of new weapons, train soldiers, and deploy them at home to maintain peace or in the various battlegrounds around the world.

Combat would work very similarly to Epic Astro Story, with players positioning their troops and equipping them with various forms of protection (Power Armor anyone?) and weapons. As players win battles, they would get more resources to put into researching new combat items or into items to keep the folks back home at peace. After all, if we’re basing this off of the Fallout timeline, Americans in the years leading up to the Great War were greatly unhappy with the government. Food shortages led to riots, and eventually with the problems left unchecked, the citizens began to rebel. In its panic, the military retaliated by sending in troops to silence the rioters by any means possible. This of course, would be the worst possible result and would need to be avoided at all costs."
