VGW: For music fans, Rock Band Blitz is as addicting a game as has ever appeared on Xbox Live Arcade or PlayStation Network. Harmonix has taken the best of the main Rock Band series and applied mechanics reminiscent of its earliest work to create a new experience that is more than worth the cost of admission. Even for Rock Band 3 players not interested in ever playing Rock Band Blitz, $15 for a 25 song DLC pack is still a great deal. Harmonix’s philosophy has always been to innovate, and then perfect. With Rock Band Blitz, the Boston-based developer has come dangerously close to doing both at the same time.
