5 Games Set in the Year 2012

I always find it interesting when old works of fiction place their setting in the future. Sometimes we get things that are eerily similar, but most of the time things are a bit ridiculous. In videogames; the first Mega Man occurred in the year 2008, both the first Metal Gear Solid and Twisted Metal are set in 2005. Hitting a little closer to home, Call of Duty Modern Warfare just fast forwarded the clock a few years to 2011. In this year according to movies, a plague will wipe out mankind ala I am Legend and this will be the year that the US economy fails in Death Race. According to the 1972 Genesis song “Get’em Out by Friday” on September 18th 2012, “Genetic Control” will set height restrictions on humans so that twice as many can fit on real estate properties.
