Sony responds to missing Counter Strike: GO in Europe

Sony has leave a official response to the missing "Counter Strike: Global Offensive" in today´s european PlayStation Store Update.

That sucks man, I was in the PC beta for a while, and I think it's something everyone should be able to play, I really enjoyed it. I'll probably buy it on PS3 though since it supports keyboard and mouse as well. But yea that sucks, Sony is making EU miss out on a great game. Anyone that knows how to work the store though can just as easily make a US account and get it, but that's not the point.

lol if you want more competition then stay on pc. Only the minority of ps3 gamers will use keyboard and mouse.

Why is patience such a hard thing for people to have?

Ok say your mom orders Pizza for dinner and she shares it out to everyone in the house but tells you that you will have to wait a month or two to eat your pizza...does that seem fair to you?

Edit: @ YES - But your mom still went and ordered pizza for your brothers but told you that she will order yours next month.

She should treat you all equally and dont have favourites which means if you have to wait then your brothers should also have to wait.

the delay could quite possibly be because it's still going through certification at sony europe because it may have failed the process in europe while it didn't in north america. unlike MS, the certification process is separate in each region (north america, europe, japan, etc...) and all have their own idiosycrasies that makes it a little inconsistent. the exact same build of a game can pass in north america, but fail in europe, which in turn can cause a delay such as this.

so i don't think it's really about playing favourites here...

The delay could also be down to the fact that when your mum ordered the pizza and distributed it around the rest of the house, it was found that the toppings were not up to standard. The best course of action was decided to be to delay your helping of the pizza in a hope that they could have more time to improve the toppings and possible add bonus toppings to apologise for the delay....

or SCEE are slow as fuck as per usual

This isn't just about patience, this is about SCEE messing us around so often. We already pay way too much for digital downloads compared to UK and NA users. Here's an example, Papo & Yo came out last week and NA users had a week to pre-order it at $15 and got a free PS3 theme for it too. EU users had to pay €15 for the title and didn't get anything for it, that's the equivalent of about $19. NA users had PS2 classics on the PS store many months before we got any in the whole of the EU and when we did get them there was only a few worth shouting about. We've had mistakes and issues like this with games going onto the store a few days or a week later than when they were supposed to be there. What gives? The people behind the SCEE store are all over the place.

i was so pissed off about this that i went and bought a us psn card online and bought it off the us store. im from Australia so im also affected.

cost me $25 Australian for a $20 card off this site called maximus cards.

now ive got a spare $5 bucks and debating whether to buy a ps mini or hold out for the inevitable paid dlc for csgo.

only downside in doing this is the download is twice as long as normal. prob cos it US servers.

yet to play it but cannot wait!!
