Agreed Anego, it was the one thing I was a little bummed out with UT III. I'd love to play the Bigger maps 4 player split screen. 2 players at the very least. My girlfriend and I played through Resistance together and we both enjoyed it immensely.

Online MP is great and all but devs should remember that some people still visit other people occasionally

Online co-op is an awesome feature for most games.

The graphics of this game are really bothering me. I'm not sure why, and I know gameplay comes first but there's something about it which looks very unpolished. Mind you, we have no idea when it's coming out.

It's still wierd, though, I mean, it's a PS3 exclusive, why isn't it looking as good at Killzone?

Still not sure about this game, one part of me thinks its pretty cool while the other part just thinks its an average, generic shooter nothing more nothing less.

I'm gonna wait and see the reviews for this game and see what alot of people say before I try it out. Still getting Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 this year.

after all of the delays and numerous revised released dates this game just doesnt cut it.

when you have a team like imsomniac who are just popping out AAA games, resistance 2 has shat allover this title graphically already,its left haze in a daze,and its not even out till winter.

textures don't look good at close up and hell, every smoke plume from a gernade is EXACTLY the same pattern/animation. very lame! I was expecting better from all the hype. Just a rental for me. DAMN Resistance/COD4 for setting such a high bar for standards! I do like the co-op modes though.

After all the delays this game has had, it's only the rumoured 4 player splitscreen mode that is keeping my hopes alive. If they cancel that than sadly it's gonna be game over for Haze.

With the Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 Behomoths lining up to take the PS3 FPS crown I think Haze has to do something AMAZING to get even noticed. I have full trust in Free Radical and it's good to see they are improving and polishing the game but I think the delays have already done their job for a lot of people.

Haze might be a fun shooter to play when you have some mates round but it isn't gonna hold a candle to the games mentioned above. That's a shame considering how psyched I was when I saw the first vids.

Haze will still be an OK shooter, just won't be in the same league as R2.

But it should be a pleasant distraction until R2 releases at the end of the year and if we are lucky, KZ2.

it looks great. i find nothing generic about it. its no more generic than any other shooter. it has its own unique characteristics with the nectar abilities and the abilities of the rebels to play dead and cause nectar overdose. healing your teammates and cool and 4 player coop is always nice. wish it would come out.

dude halo 3 is crap, how can you play that crap. the game is way over hyped, not to mention it only has 16 players online unlike resistance wich has 40(and its a launch tittle) halo was realesed 2 years after the 360 was realesed, how can halo dream to compete with resistance 2 with 60 players online and 8 player co op. as for haze it will own as well, people lost interest cause of delays but it doesnt change the game. if anything delays polish up the game so i didnt cancle my pre order(fully paid by the way)

Hell, A LOT of games NEEDED delays in 07. And because they wanted to fit some set schedule for release, the games were mediocre. The average gamer is TOO spoiled and jaded nowadays.

The game will be solid. Just be patient and stop whining about delays. There are PLENTY of games to keep you busy until Haze comes out

Delays are a necessary evil...i think developers shouldn't even give release dates until very very far along into development. You never know what may happen that may get you of schedule. Take your time Free Radical but just know releasing this game next to heavy hitters isn't a wise one.

Everyone should def. give this game a twirl. Its the first ps3 game where up to four people can join in and play on the fly. I will be getting two rumble controllers and prob this game for some multi madness fun... they did make goldeneye which was loads of fun back in the day and the story for haze seems interesting, cant wait to give this game a try hopefully its fun and has smooth gameplay.

yea i will never play the split screen and online coop seems cool in concept but rarely works that well unless it throws you in coop at any time because waiting in lobbys kinda sucks. i hope this game is sweet because i want a good online exclusive game for the ps3 (it is exclusive isnt it?)

wait, halo?! that's so last year/last gen man. How about we focus more on Resistance 2, or Killzone 2, or MGS4. OR we could switch from shooter th RPG and name some FF games. OR we could talk racing and mention the most realistic racing game ever, which is Gran Turismo 5. And don't forget about LBP, that game is in it's own league. There is pretty much nothing you can compare LBP to.

Can't see anything special in this that will make it a must own title but i'd still get it, the multiplayer and co-op modes especially are what i'd be interested in. Saying Halo 3 is crap is wrong though, it was definitely overhyped but it was as usual excellent in multiplayer, COD4 is without a doubt better though.

If people aren't careful then KZ2, Resistance2 will go down the same route, everyone reads all the info they can and start spouting off, 60 player online and 8 player co-op would be awesome and Insomniac have said it will happen but until it does let's try to keep the hype down, otherwise it'll end up like Halo3, there was no way it could meet everyone's expectations but that doesn't mean it was crap.

Only PLAYSTATION® 3 is capable of ensuring that gamers get the complete experience and not something of garbage proportions on XBOX 360.

When it's all said and done, XBOX 360 will be a defunct console and XBots will still brag about their irrelevant "attach rate".

The devs said that you can play Co-op over PSN and the system will be great, anyone can join at anytime and when someone leaves he/she will be replaced by a bot until someone else comes. very cool if you ask me.

Looking forward to it, but the delays are killer. It's annoying the hell outta of me waiting on this game, but this vid makes me happy with it again. It shows things are going well post-delay and the co-op looks sensational. Really can't wait.
