Gamereactor UK: At Gamelab this year GRTV got chatting with Gearbox President Randy Pitchford.
During the interview Pitchford described a huge leap forward for the Borderlands franchise ("Borderlands 2 makes Borderlands 1 look like the Stone Age"), the possibility of Gearbox taking on the Blade Runner series ("I think it would be cool to spend some time in an interactive game that really builds the Blade Runner universe out, but I'm not sure Gearbox will do it. I think if we did, our vision for that would be so grand that we'd probably spend more than we should") and the reason why we're all excited about Aliens: Colonial Marines ("It's like an itch that hasn't been scratched, ever. Ever since we saw the movies. We've always wanted to have that experience. So to be able to do that experience in videogame form is really exciting").
Ahmad from eXputer: "Borderlands 2's unrivaled storytelling is something that has to lean into the core elements of the next iteration in the Borderlands series."
I'm curious how they are going to do the Siren since they've kind of wrote themselves into a corner regarding the lore.
it will probably be alot like wonderlands, since that is the last borderlands game
but we'll see soon
Most people do. But the people that create the games don't seem to understand that.
I bet it will be even worse than BL3 when it comes to story and character designs.
While gamers usually take notice of the mainline missions, these 5 side quests deserve more widespread attention for how entertaining they are.
GF365: "Whether it be style, speed or firepower, these rides are sure to satisfy. Here are our picks for the ten best vehicles in video games."
The Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak from the Gran Turismo series
Nissan Skyline from Need for Speed Underground
Motorcycle Steamroller from Dead Rising 3
And finally a car you never drive but saves your ass over and over : Honey Badger from COD MW2
I was thinking of Mad Max. That V8 felt really good to drive around in, especially with upgrades.
I can't wait for Borderlands and Aliens.
