Chaos Hour Writes: With sales of Dragon's Dogma soaring this can only mean one thing for this fresh new IP, and that's a sequel. It's one of those things which is going to happen regardless. Capcom would be crazy not to take this opportunity to make a Dragon's Dogma 2. Here's hoping that they are in development of the game as personally I really enjoyed Dragons Dogma and would love to see more. But could a sequel be the downfall of this fantastic RPG? Or is it exactly what it needs to rise above the likes of Skyrim and Diablo.
What Would You Like From Dragons Dogma 2?
Alex writes: "I have a habit of trying to rush through games, so Dragon's Dogma 2 was a nice reminder that taking it slow isn't the end of the world."
WTMG's Jordan Hawes: "Dragon’s Dogma 2 is exactly what I wanted; an updated sequel that still hold true to what made the first game so beloved. While it may not be perfect with its lack luster visuals and performance, it more than makes up for in deep gameplay and addicting exploration. The Pawn system still remains one of the coolest party systems in an RPG, and I love the dynamic feel of them. This is absolutely a game of the year contender and may be my personal game of the year already."
After brewing for nearly twelve years in Capcom’s cauldron; Dragon's Dogma 2 is finally here, and with it, a sequel that stays surprisingly faithful to the original. Author: Kyle Doherty for Game Hype UK.
Co op with a sort of horde mode with a lot of players with big boss monsters only.
It depends. how they did it. Although it seems most games are getting a 'horde' mode these days
Don't really care about adding the extra co-op I would like the ability to make more than one of my own pawns.
Co-op is obviously a must, as is more time spent on fleshing out an engaging storyline and character development. The combat and Pawn systems are brilliant so I wouldn't change those mechanics much. A graphical upgrade would be a welcome addition as well. DD looks phenomenal from afar, but character models and the like look pretty awful up-close, in and out of cutscenes. Regardless, bring on DD2; my wallet is ready and willing.
A better more refined item management system.
