Natural Selection 2 – The Sequel to the Source Mod
The Literate Noob – One of the most memorable mods to come from the Half-Life modding community was Natural Selection, an asymmetrical aliens v. space marines shooter with an interesting twist: A player commander on the marines side that gave orders. To them, the game looked more like a standard, top-down RTS. Well, the guy who made that mod founded his own company, and they've been building on that concept in a big way for the upcoming sequel.
