Possible Too Human Release Date

According to GameStop Too Human will be releasing March 6, 2008.

the graphics dont impress me much, kind of looks like a cheep dmc/god of war knock off, i hope im wrong though but if it is just a hack n slash game i wont be surprised.

like i sad though i hope im wrong because i do like the art style, and the story could be cool if doen well.

ME is an RPG with third person elements. TH is an RPG with action elements. TH is at heart an RPG hunting and gathering with action elements. Basically it is not competing against GOW or DMC. TH is so different.

yeah i know its got rpg elements but most of the videos ive seen just show hack and slash action, and it doesnt even look good or exciteing.

i would like to see some good videos that really impress me but what ive seen so far just leaves me feeling disapointed, all the years that have gone into this game dont show in the videos, and its a shame, but if its a good game and i go into it expecting nothing then maybe ill get a nice surprise, its a rent at this point.

Well that is pretty much not likely this game had many problems with the unreal engine and has not really been shown to the public releasing it now will hurt it. But no matter what I will not buy this game never like it since E3 06 when i firths saw it never like it never will.

like ive said before, just becuase a retailer shuffles around its release status' for certain games it doesnt mean its right at all. Im not saying this release date isnt likely im just saying you should never take a retailers release date as fact if it hasnt been formally announced from the makers of the game themselves

I don't want to dampen anyones sunshine here but is anyone else a bit nervous about the fact that little to NO information has been released about Too Human lately except for all of the squabbling with Epic and about how much trouble Silicon Knights have had with the Unreal engine?

Then all of a sudden....BAM! release date just a little over a month away? If the game turns out to be awesome then thats wonderful but for some reason this is way too similar to the road that Blacksite took....and we all know how -that- turned out.

I was thinking the same thing. Reminds me a lot like Shadowrun when that was leading up to release. And well, how much of a failure that was to the point of putting the studio out of business.

And according to our computers, it SHIPS on MAY 6th, so release date of May 7th. Yeah, the week after GTA 4. I would almost bet money that this date (May 7th) will slip-- Microsoft will be on the GTA bandwagon for sure, especially with that premium Downloadable Content stuff being 360 exclusive, and won't want Too Human to get lost in the GTA sales hype. Also, if you have been following the Epic/Silicon Knights scrap, SK might have to prove that their engine does not contain any Unreal Engine 3 code before they can release the game, and as of last week they were squabbling over who from Epic would be able to look at Too Human's code, because it contains proprietary information that SK wouldn't want ANY other game company looking at, much less the head programmer for a company that "supposedly" screwed them over. Anyway-- March 6th-- no way.

According to gamestop's website, the release date listed is for May 6, 2008. Which sounds a hell of alot more reasonable then 1 0r so monthes away.
