Rumor: Half Life 3 Being Developed on Source 2
The folks over at ValveTime.net have discovered something interesting in the code for the Source Filmmaker, however. How interesting? So interesting that it appears Valve has been working on the Source Engine 2 for Half-Life 3.
It appears that Gabe Newell has done some number crunching (as well as donut crunching) and has decided that it's most likely a good time to start working on the next engine, as well as Half Life 3.
Earlier in the year images were leaked that appeared to be concept art for Half-Life 3. The images took the internet by storm, but no official word or comment came from a Valve employee.
