Top 5 worst video game controllers of all time. Does not include 3rd party controllers or accessories.

They were all terrible. The Xbox 360 controller got a little better but the left analog stick is still in the improper place, though.

Many people consider the Xbox 360 controller to be the best controller around today. Its more then perfect for shooters and just about every other type of game.

People complained about the Duke on the original Xbox, but I loved it and still own two.

Don't see how you can like or dislike a controller you've never owned though.

Never owned an Xbox(either one). Love the Duke, hate the 360 pad.

The Atari 5200 controller IS one of the worst ones.
The N64 controller was oddly-shaped and had awkward face buttons.
I know it doesn't count but using the Wii mote as a standard two-handed controller was one of the worst experiences this gen.

I know the 360 controller is praised for its ergonomics but imo the GC one had a better grip.

as dumb as the n64 control was nintendo first partys were perfect for it only nintendo knows how to use what they got to this day they nly know how to use there consoles

The Atari Jaguar controller might be the worst controller I ever used, followed closely by the 5200 controller. The way you held it was weird and it wasn't very reliable.

That would suck if console makers made bad controllers just so they can release a better one later.

Wow, those look pretty crazy. Freaking buttons & joysticks everywhere lol I'm lucky to have never had the misfortune of needing to use any of these. *kisses dualshock 3* >_<

These controllers are the worst of the worst. There were good controllers too of course (look up the Atari 2600 and Vectrex controllers).

Plus the 1st and 2nd generations of consoles were also great gaming times needless to say!!!

The wiimote was pretty uncomfortable, I used the classic controller all the time for a reason.

I owned a PS1 and a PS2 but after owning a 360 this gen there's no way I could go back to using a playstation pad now. I tried playing FIFA at a mates house on the duelshock and the sticks feel terrible compared to the 360 pad for a game as intricate as FIFA. Even after a few hours I still didn't like it, way too much movement In the sticks, meaning they feel too loose, the domed top is a bad idea my thumbs are too elevated giving me thumb ache after 10 minutes and the overall weight of the pad feels too light and cheap. I'm sure I would get reacquainted with it eventually but playing 360 you forget you have the pad in your hand at times and are just engrossed in the game, that to me says it's doing it's job perfectly and I had that feeling from the moment I first bought the console it took no getting used to whatsoever.

Duke is my fav controller of all time. Wish the 360 made a bigger controller equivelant. I have medium hands and that sucker fit so perfect it was ridiculous.
