Noble Press: Josh Trank does a beautiful job at using cameras that exist within the film to tell the story. Never once do we cut to a camera that does not exist within the film’s reality. This style of film making is usually crude and hard on the eyes. At the beginning of the film we have the standard shaky camera. As Andrews powers progress, he starts to use his mind to levitate and move the camera. This allows Tranks to give us beautiful shots with smooth camera movement, revealing things that we would otherwise not see in a film of this style. The one question that comes to mind towards the end of the film is “Who is exactly editing all of this footage together into one solid cut?” I digress from this point because it’s a Pandora’s Box that could never be shut…
