Escalation studios will be showing off its latest game, Eternal Fate at this year’s Quakecon. For people who are unable to attend the event, there is an Eternal Fate Kickstarter which players can donate to and which gives them a chance to be able to participate in the upcoming closed beta. The game will be released later this year for the PC and Mac.
S since 1996 to date, QuakeCon has become a sort of pilgrimage for fans of video games. Although in the last three years it was further commercialized after the studio Zenimax bought id Software, QuakeCon has continued to attract a large number of gamers. This year's event broke another record for consecutive number of visitors, which during four days of the fair in Dallas were nearly 10,000.
