XCM XFPS RateUp Launched for PlayStation 3

January 28, 2008 – "Today Team Xtender unveiled a new PlayStation 3 model of the XFPS with new capabilities for sensitivity adjustment. The XFPS RateUp should benefit dramatically from the addition of two new adjustment wheels that add an additional 16-levels of X and Y axis sensitivity for dialing in mouse movement.

The reality of the XFPS, as we discovered in our review, left quite a lot to be desired. Though the keyboard component was fine, and broad mouse motions felt good, the methods by which the device converted mouse movement to faux analog stick motions did not work well in situations in which precision aiming became necessary."
