Kotaku writes:"There are a lot of video games out there and a lot of ways to buy them. But you don't have bottomless pockets of money and you might be unsure about which games to get, whether you really should download them or go to a store and... is it really necessary to pre-order? And don't these games ever go on sale?
We have some advice."
We're combing through some of the most hidden or obscure JRPGs out there. We've got 25 Obscure JRPGs to look at.
Remake of Lost Odyssey, Open World Alundra(ala breath of the wild), Xenogears Remake, and Breath of Fire Remake. I also want Golden Sun sequel on Switch 2!
Assassin's Creed Animus is a brand-new board game from Mantic Games, the team behind the incredible Halo Flashpoint game.
Will we ever get a good Superman game? Here's how to make the perfect Superman game.

major games like Call of Duty can really wait. Small companies like Aksys would gladly take your earlier support so that they can continue to release games overseas. Be glad you're not paying over 100 dollars just to import a game you lucky Americans.
Gonna disagree with the article. Game stops service is hit or miss, mostly miss. BUT, the prices and trade in values are still complete trash everywhere. Terrible place to go if you want games, unless you're supporting a company and want to buy it new.
I'm a PC Gamer so this is for my fellow PC Gamers new to the platform......
1. You see a game you might want more info about before buying:
Youtube Gameplay of it
go to www.Twitch.Tv and watch someone play it
Get info from actual gamers on the Steam forums or chat
Youtube and twitch.TV are all I use to determine if I want to buy a game cause reviews are Bogus and Paid for plus Metacritic is NOT reliable or you may just have different taste..
2. Where to buy
Steam, Good Ole games, Steam, Amazon.com, Steam, Barnes & Noble, Steam. Oh yeah did I mention Steam!
These stores sometimes have EXCELLENT cheap pre-order prices and Steam of course usually drops teh price on the third week after release unless it's a proven franchise that's on console as well.
3. Digital or Physical
Your a PC Gamer, so unless it's a Limited Edition with all kinds of cool stuff i suggest downloading. Who has time to run to a store, find parking, locate the game you want in the store's Broom Closet, stand in line to check out blah blah blah.
You can download that New Game while you sleep or while your at work/school. Steam will also pre load your game so you can play it exactly at Midnight release day.
Enjoy!
Lag a year behind, I got dead space 2 for 120 new at launch(nz) and again recent for 20! I held of on saints 3 and just got it for 35, but black ops 2 I've per ordered, I NEED nuke town 2025!
There are a few games ive preordered this year and Im still going through which games I really want to play on release day or in December. One game I can't cancel due to there policy with that game, I want it anyway.
There are also limited and collector editions I want to get. I will also be racking up points to knock off my collectors edition.
