Company Of Heroes 2 Event Impressions | Capsule Computers

"Earlier this week at an event held by THQ in a secret location, us here at Capsule Computers were given a glance and/or playthrough of some of their upcoming games. One of these games was the upcoming Company Of Heroes 2 strategy game from Relic Entertainment. Unfortunately, we were unable to actually go hands-on with the title as the game is still in Pre-Alpha and has yet to leave the workshop. However, we were shown a pretty decent developer commentary and some gameplay footage of some new features present in the series. The first game actually made me looked around my room for the sounds of off-screen falling artillery shells (finally realized why I bought that 5.1 speaker system). A week later, it burned out my power supply (it was a very cheap PSU that came with the casing).

As a whole, it made me shun other traditional base-building, tank-rushing RTSes until others start to emulate its features.

Lets put it this way- I really don't like rts games (one of my worst genres), yet I absolutely loved CoH you have to play it to understand why it is so good.
