Chris Buffa (Modojo): Transformers is on its way on iOS and Android. Hasbro inked a three-year licensing deal to develop and publish mobile games on smartphones and tablets, with the first title from DeNA coming to us by way of the Mobage social gaming platform.
Toy company Hasbro is seeking to release 1-2 video games per year as soon as 2025, and is looking to invest $125M per year on gaming.
I like collecting Hasbro’s Star Wars figures, they are generally of good quality. I would like to see Hasbro make figures from my favourite game franchises, if they can get the licenses.
I welcome Hasbro as a new competitive publisher despite my concerns about how they treated Larian

Larian refused to make an expansion partly because of how other non-Larian employees got treated, Larian is in such a good position that they had all the cards.
I think they are going to try and bank on the Baldur's Gate name to try and squeeze some money from it. I mean, if they can't get a good developer behind it, they will drive the name into the ground, no?
More companies making more games the better. Not sure how it will turn out but you never know. Sometimes they improve sometimes they don’t but I want companies to keep trying either way. Preferably single player games
A Hasbro executive has said in an interview that it is working on a D&D game. He credited Baldur's Gate 3 for showing demand for the genre.
Their greedy hands won't be able to make a game without it. Then they'll blame anything but themselves.
As predicted, and so it begins. As with every great game before it, many games will be made thanks to executives that don't really have the understanding of why it was great, only that it was popular so it must be copied.

The initial claims of lost source code didn't make much sense anyhow. The Cybertron titles were re-released for PS4 and XB1 digitally back in 2016. So Activision/High Moon lost the source codes after just seven years?
I would love a new Transformers game that was like the Cybertron games, really miss that series (still have it on my Steam account).
War and Fall of Cybertron are classics the shitty movie games are the ones that should be lost.
