Can World of Warcraft Save Itself?

The Literate Noob: With all the competition swirling around World of Warcraft, the king of the MMO genre might finally have a successor. Though it almost certainly won't die out completely until the day Blizzard shuts down the servers, this is definitely going to be a trying year for the monetary behemoth, even with (or possibly as a result of) their upcoming expansion.
