Japanese game developer Square Enix began streaming the two training videos for the Chō Soku Henkei Gyrozetter (Super High-Speed Transforming Gyrozetter) arcade game on Friday.
Square Enix is shutting service down for the Gyrozetter arcade game on February 2, 2014. The series will go out with one last Arcadia Grand Prix event scheduled for November and December.
The wizards behind Square Enix’s CG artwork cooked up a rather amusing April Fool’s prank this year. It wasn’t a mean tease of a much anticipated Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts title, but a real life Raibird from Gyrozetter.
Siliconera: "Gyrozetter is part racing game and part robot-paper-scissors. After putting in 100 yen for a play you get a machine card. Mine was the Prius alpha, which transformed into a teal robot with a humongous flashing sword."
