Review: Dragon’s Dogma | Only Single Player
These days, if you’re going to attempt an open-world fantasy RPG, you better bring something special to the table. In a genre dominated by the likes of such recent releases as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and The Witcher 2, there is little room for missteps. Not only must a title maintain categorical standards such as character development and expansive environments, but it must also present some distinctive element to help it stand out from the crowd. Fortunately for Dragon’s Dogma, it brings a number of fresh ideas to the genre and proves to be a far deeper experience than I had anticipated.
