The Examiner Review – Max Payne 3
It was something of a surprise when Max Payne 3 was announced back in 2009, given that the last game of the series came out almost a decade ago. The original was very well received due to its compelling noire story, and unique bullet time mechanic. Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne was a faithful sequel and, so people thought, a satisfying end to series. Imagine fan's chagrin when Max Payne 3 was announced, but the title character appeared to be replaced with some bald, sullen, geezer wearing an ugly Hawaiian shirt. Did this latest entry do justice to the series, or were the fans right to worry?
