Outland Review – Chaos Hour

At first glance Outland is a good-lookingside scrolling, action/adventure, plat-former. Being a fan of artsy looking games, I was more than ready to fall in love with this downloadable title. Under further scrutiny however, I found that once Outland’s polished looking exterior was peeled away, it leaves a lot to be desired within the core of the game. Sure, the hand drawn backgrounds and striking colour styling are pleasant but after you’ve seen the same background for a few hours, it all begins to run together into a boring blob of blandness.
