To me the horses in RDR were the closest thing to riding a real horse. It was fantastic how they pulled it off. I realize they are talking about specific horses but still.

MerkinMax4720d ago

I can't believe I waited this long to play RDR. The game is sooooo good, makes me sad I didnt play it back in 2010.

vikingland14720d ago

The important thing is you didn't miss out on it completely.Good for you!

"AGROOoooOoooo!"

Agro > Stupid Ass Wander

Agro is the best horse ever, period.

MS could compress their games on disc

raWfodog15d ago (Edited 15d ago )

Skyrim is still my favorite ES game. I’m playing through it again right now since I never finished it.

jznrpg5d ago

Morrowind is by far my favorite. But I’m getting old and played Daggerfall Morrowind and Oblivion before Skyrim

ActualWhiteMan14d ago

Yeah totally. Definitely won’t be hacking it Nintendo 🤞🏻

Simon's Quest is better than Symphony.

If you're gonna troll, at least make a legitimate attempt.

Levii_9220d ago

Hot damn that's a good list. The only one i never played is AOE2 and i never finshed Chrono Trigger but it was damn good.

Speaking of what's old but holds up amazingly well and plays like a dream.. i played Symphony of the Night for the first time in 2019.. yep that's right. It became one of my favourite games of all time that i replay almost every year. I couldn't believe how good it was. That is almost impossible for me with newer games let alone older ones. Truly a special gem.

LG_Fox_Brazil20d ago

That's a pretty fucking great list

__y2jb20d ago (Edited 20d ago )

The only one I’d disagree with is doom. It shows its age badly I think. After 5 minutes of play these days you put it down.

Fallout and Skyrim show us that talented developers make great games when you leave them alone

That judicious lack of oversight permeated everything in Bethesda's RPGs, in a positive fashion.

Christopher44d ago

I much prefer a left alone Obsidian and Larian Studios. Bethesda's formula has grown old for me.

anast42d ago

Larian hit another level with DOS:2 and then took it even further with BG3. They do high quality work.

Skyrim was a letdown compared to previous games and so was Fallout 4

Kosic42d ago

I agree, I found it an interesting game. But nowhere near worth the hype (unless you include mods)

dmonee43d ago

Skyrim blew my mind when it released. That game took me to the gaming, promisedland. Going back to it when it was updated for the PS5, it felt slightly rough around the edges, but great for its time

TheColbertinator42d ago

We should leave Obsidian alone. Bethesda on the other hand should be kept under constant psychiatric observation.

anast42d ago

Skyrim feels like the game was made in a hurry with a disorganized team.
