I hear it before I see it. The helicopter swoops overhead, banking, and launches a barrage of missiles directly at me. With no time to dodge, and not willing to take the brunt of the explosion while blocking, my reflexes kick in. Holding down the right-bumper, I sprint directly towards my attacker, deftly hopping onto the first projectile and continuing my ninja-run, bouncing like a human pinball between the missiles, launching myself high into the air above the chopper, and flip into slow-motion. With 3 quick slices of my katana, time reverts to full speed, and I gracefully stick the landing. Behind me, a blinding explosion fills the screen, and the debris of the helicopter litters the ground around me.
"Firstly, we owe all our Japanese fans of MGR: Revengeance a big apology for that," said Jiro Oishi, Metal Gear series producer.
Wish they'd do a current gen console release of this. Hopefully on MGS Master Collection Vol. 2!
