Apple’s Games Center ‘AirPlay’ Could Be a Console-Killer
In other Apple gaming related news this week, Apple announced and demoed a feature called AirPlay. It allows you to seamlessly tether your screen to your Apple TV, a small box that costs $99. Although this has nothing to do with gaming directly, they demoed it using Game Center, Apple’s equivalent of Xbox LIVE. The demo impressed as it showed a key strength of the iOS system for game developers: Synchronized, cross-platform gaming.
