VG247: Dave Oshry plays the PC version of Borderlands 2 and speaks to director Jeremy Cooke. He leaves with a fistful of Diablo III comparisons and melted eyes.
We can't wait for this to be released!
limited edition loot chest pre ordered i spent over 200hrs into borderlands and that was without any sort of story or a vibrant world but this time around things are looking much better will buy limited edition may not open it and keep it since it will be extreme rare and buy a regular edition for myself to play
Splitscreen + systemlink and I'll try it out.
i loved the first one and i prolly buy the second one too, but i really wish they let you make/customize your own character :/
"You’ll tear up cloth, shatter windows and splinter wood." I love this kind of interactivity. Makes the world seem really alive. "There’s even radiosity lighting, day-night cycle support (finally), next-gen pixel shading..." Good to see improvements, lighting really helps make a game seem more real. I thought there was day-night cycles in Borderlands? It wasn't the greatest cycle, but it was still there. Wonder what they mean. "The game actually has color this time around, really bright reds and deep blues." Color works especially well with this game because of the cell-shading. I can't wait to see how the artistic design is with the final product.
Can all these companies just hold off on games like beyond, watch dogs etc. I game a lot and I own an Xbox and ps3 but no PC. I have debated getting one but I am waiting for next Gen specs to be announced because if I have a choice I would choose console because of all the friends I have and the stats I've accrued but I am getting tired of seeing the gap between the two. I am happy for PC gamers and I am content with what I am playing now but its gonna get ridiculous soon. Borderlands will b great. I just want them announce next Gen already so I can decide.
