Wondering why we didn’t see Nathan Drake make an appearance at E3? (Aside from Playstation All Stars) According to Sony’s Scott Rohde, Uncharted is moving aside to make way for The Last Of Us.

They are working on something new. Not to be rude but it is impossibility stupid to think ND next major announcement is going to be a remaster or their next Last of Us entry is going to be another remaster.
I think this is in response to them releasing a remaster for the sequel, a game that didn't need a remaster.
Basically a "why did you put out a remaster no one asked for when you have all there options available"
They remaster is to put out something quick while they are deving new stuff. I don't get how people can be so static.
That was a Remake. I guess they could do that to 2, but man…. They should wait a couple generations so it can look like a major upgrade.
The team is sad for losing out on such a great project but celebrates its growth because of spending time on it.
All they had to do was make a basic online mode like their previous games. Instead they wanted more money and choose to go live service which makes games worse in my opinion.

I can't wait for season 2 so they can kill Joel off in the first 2 episodes!! Then it will be just Abby and Ellies revenge plot!

TLoU Factions was a great addition such a shame they couldn’t be bothered to remaster that for PS5 considering the crazy high price tag of the remaster of a remaster…
This is something to be celebrated. This studio is smart and they get it, even factions 2 wouldn't've have been worth the time. I am surprised they didn't just remaster the first one though, but actually how popular was Factions?
Want to know the real reason? Naughty Dog's other team is working on Uncharted 4 for the PS4
It's a shame because Uncharted is Playstations only really great multiplayer game.
Guess I can keep playing 3 till 4 comes out though. I'm certain it will... but probably on PS4 or something.

hold on, dont think i'm bashing on those games, both of those were some of my favorites at e3 this year, people automatically think borrowing from games is bad, and if it's done right it isn't, modnation made a kart racer, but made some really cool new gameplay aspects that made it so that it wasn't another copy, as long as both games can do that then they're fine
tomb raider looks like it's doing just that, and we haven't seen much of starwars 1313 but i'm excited to see more
I am loving the sound of this game. I just read a preview of it and the person said Joel got jumped from behind and held in a choke hold and the guy's friends shot at Joel through the windows making sure not to shoot the guy holding him. The scavengers are actually concerned about each others welfare.Ellie was so smart that she didn't even jump into help him because she knew she would be shot at. ND said she has her own survival instinct.
Another scene they mentioned was when a guy saw that Joel had a revolver and ran shouting warning to his partners. And when Joel found him he was waiting for him with a Molotov but Joel shot it out of his hand. So the guy ran at him screaming in desperate attack and got two shots in the chest. And none of this was scripted. This AI is awesome.
considering ND just released Uncharted 3 November Last year and Sony Bend just shipped Uncharted:GA in feb this year! Honestly let ND's other team get to working on a new ip for the PS4, Uncharted i feel is begining to suffer franchise fatigue, many people thought U3 was more of the same and compare it to U2 (which I think is silly) but its clear that For Drake to have a greater impact since his last 2 home console games ND needs to take some time and leave Drake on an island to relax with Sully Chloe and Elena! The Franchise is rich and FULL of greater potential. Let the franchise rest a little. The Amy Henning needs to pen a newer more impactful story and Ip then, we can have the team that did Uncharted 2 and The Last of Us take on Uncharted 4 for the next gen Playstation and be a year 2 title much the way Uncharted came out in the PS3's second Year!
