Instant Kingdom has released a new update for upcoming fantasy RPG Driftmoon. Users who preordered the game can download the latest alpha build from the Instant Kingdom site. This update adds a major new area, Nomen Docks, with new NPCs and much to do.
There are certain values that are overlooked in games nowadays, the main thing is creativity. Herein Driftmoon stands. Like a game of pure creativity, unique characters and dialogues ... crazy.
Thomas Faust of TPG writes:
"Driftmoon might not be the most beautiful game out there and its combat engine is functional at best, but it wins you over by sheer force of personality. I definitely liked what it tried to achieve, and I enjoyed almost every bit of the journey."
Alex of Greenlit Gaming writes: "Games nowadays tend to be extremely dramatic, depressing, and filled to the brim with weaponry and zombies. Thankfully, a game occasionally comes around to break that mold and try something a little different. In my case, playing Driftmoon as been quite the pleasant experience. With a colorful cast of characters and witty dialogue, the game is certainly a nice change of pace from the usual RPG experience. Its unique style and light-hearted nature is what prompted me to get in touch with the husband and wife team Ville and Anne Mönkkönen to discuss their labor of love, Driftmoon."
