Darkstation.com's new feature looks at twenty of the major publishers, and evaluates them based on their current situation. For the rankings, they are interested in the stability of a publisher, as well as growth in finances, talent and titles. Most important to the evaluations, though, is the diversity and depth of a company's portfolio.
Part one looks at the publishers that are struggling (like THQ) or have poor portfolios (like Tecmo).
