EuroGamer - Veteran video game voice actor Nolan North has won a role in big screen blockbuster Star Trek 2 off the back of his work on the Uncharted series.
North told Eurogamer that director J. J. Abrams asked him to appear in the forthcoming movie sequel as he was a big fan of PlayStation 3 hero Nathan Drake.
FreeckyCake writes: After the success of the Jak and Daxter series on the PlayStation 2, Naughty Dog decided it was time for the series to take a rest. However, that wasn't the end for Naughty Dog's career. It was merely the beginning of something big. Something that would surpass their past projects
Andrew Duncan of GameGrin chats with Nolan North about DIRT 5, Deadpool and more.
Nolan North and Troy Baker share their experiences working with Codemasters on Dirt 5 and its story-based career mode.
I don't really play racing games, but do people really cary about story modes in racing games? I thought need for speed in the past did a good job of it, somewhat cheesy, minimalistic story but it did the job imo. Just so there was some context in the game.
Wonder if he's gonna be a key character or just an extra like Slater was.
It'd be neat to see him play a villain. He did a great job voicing Penguin. Wonder how well he acts on camera...
Hopefully he has a decent part. Hell, even the Cole "Train" got a decent one in Transformers 3, albeit, small...
I don't like Star Trek or Uncharted so this is terrible news.
I'm a filthy liar. I'm guessing he'll be playing a crewman, possibly a redshirt.
@F7U12 :D I only put that to see how many disagrees i'd get from people who only read the first line.
*Ship's Computer* - Incoming photon torpedoes.
*Ensign Drake* - Oh crap!
This just makes me want to watch this movie even more now.
