HAZE is a very good FPS with a twist on drug addiction.
I think the reason there are so many bad reviews for this game is because it is taken way too seriously [subject matter,shallow plot,stupid voice overs]. for me the bottom line is that this game is just fun and has spot on control and very cool weapons...VERY COOL!! the whole nectar/drug addiction thing is done well however,maybe some folks got upset about that aspect of the game. the sound and the weapons are very well done. the guns look different from any other FPS i have ever played. the game control is spot on the money and it is rumble pack compatible. on my tv the audio is clear ,especially the sound of gun battle. if i have one complaint it would be that there is too much repetitive dialog.the subject matter is the same and they just keep talking about it[nectar,nectar,nectar,kill,kill,kill] . i don't mind the testosterone,alpha male thing because i am one too :). i even think the frat boy mentality is funny at times BOOSH!!
so let me say if you aren't a serious,analytical FPS player you should love this game just for the bang-bang factor.i like this game because it is pure fun. i felt the same way about soldier of fortune payback and blacksite area 51 for the PS3 and 360 respectfully.. i still have both of them.. i won't compare this game to HALO,HL2,BIOSHOCK but it really shouldn't be compared to these FPS with very deep stories and themes. there are times when i don't want to think about any thing but killing the enemy. no puzzles to get in or out ,no secret doors no taking pics to continue.....just shoot. this game is a very good reflexive,reaction,shoot everything glowing in site kinda game. there is one line in the game when one soldier says to another not to worry about saving the wounded soldiers in your squad but rather just grab the biggest gun you can find! that is the theme of this game ; just grab the biggest gun you can find and shoot away.

Splatterhouse remake . Loved the og’s at the arcade growing up . Hell the best thing about the remake was the og,s were included . And left alive by Square . That game had so much potential , but the gameplay was worse horrendous .
once Great studios getting destroyed is actually common. happened with ND and Last of Us2, Bioware and Mass Effect Andromeda/Anthem, Bungle and Destiny .
I'm pretty much certain that any Sonic game that comes out will be terrible, I've not enjoyed one since the original side-scrolling days of the MegaDrive.
For this Topic it says Good Studios that make bad games. Sonic Team hasn't been good in years.
Guns, drugs, and unnecessary war. Fun for the whole family.
