HAZE has been getting mixed reviews from anything to 3.9 out of 10 to 9/10. This short review will show my impressions on the game.
First of all this game features what i beleive should be standard in all games. Customisable control's. This was the first thing i did and i changed it to a control system simlar to other controls from games like COD4.
The next great feature of this game is how well the co-op works, any of your friends can leave and join at any time, online and off, offline all you friend has to do it press start and hes in. This feature works great since alot of next gen co-op games require you to start the level/mission again if you want a friend to join in.
And finally, this game has a solid story line, which is rare in modern FPS, which sees you fighting for and agaisn't mantel. This combined with some great voice acting, really makes you want to finish the game.
Then theres the whole 'Nectar' feature of the game. While fighting as a mantel trooper giving you self a boost of necter makes the game alot easier, however it does back fire agaisnt you, the enemy will target you and your teammates by trying to get them to overdose, and this does happen quite a bit, when this happens you will see your teammates turning on you, since they can't tell whos who. One level i ended up killing half my own team, so you have to watch out for that one. The other effects of nectar i will let you find out for yourself.
Now for the negitives in this game, first off you can not miss the fact that the textures and visuals aren't what we were expecting seeing as its a PS3 exclusive. However they are good enough for the gameplay does make up for it. Another thing is there are a lack of varity in the weapons, while they work well, they aren't enough of them.
Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "When shopping for new video games you can often trust the name publisher or developer on the box to be an indication of the quality of the game. Names like Nintendo, Square Enix, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Capcom, Xbox Game Studios and Sega are world famous because they helped shape the industry by releasing some of the most defining video games of all time. Though sometimes even these great gaming houses stumble and put out a stinker."
Splatterhouse remake . Loved the og’s at the arcade growing up . Hell the best thing about the remake was the og,s were included . And left alive by Square . That game had so much potential , but the gameplay was worse horrendous .
I'm pretty much certain that any Sonic game that comes out will be terrible, I've not enjoyed one since the original side-scrolling days of the MegaDrive.
Guns, drugs, and unnecessary war. Fun for the whole family.
good review. this game is sooo underrated. the hype was completely destroyed by the reviews. this game lives up to it though. the graphics get pretty amazing as you get further into the game, its too bad all the visuals aren't perfect.
