Just How Fat Is This Princess Exactly?

Very. But that's a good thing. The fatter the better, trust me! Fat Princess is a game that is available for download on the Playstation Store for $15. And trust me, its worth every penny of it.

Story: The enemy has abducted your princess! Whatever shall you do?!? Actually I already know! Your going to slice and dice your way through dozens of other players and make your way to the enemy castle. When you arrive however, the princess is much too fat to carry! The enemy has been feeding her CAKE?!? PREPOSTEROUS! Yep, that pretty much sums up the premise.

Gameplay: other than the very popular rescue the princess mode, there ARE others. There's a snatch and grab mode, sort of like a capture the flag game. Then there is a team deathmatch mode where you slaughter the other opponents until their points run out. There are a few others, but lets get on with the review. You can play as one of six classes: the Worker, Ranger, Warrior, Priest, Mage or Villager. Well actually Villagers are what you start as, then you choose your class. I could go on and on about the different characteristics of each class, but I'm afraid I want to keep this review as brief as possible in order to not tire you before you finish reading. The game plays as a hack and slash, but without any rpg elements. Sure the classes are upgradable but your workers will handle that. There is a Co-Op option for online and offline, however you must download the $5 DLC to do this.

Graphics: The graphics are very cartoony, but it fits in very well. The game seems to parody itself in a way by showing you very vibrant almost childish visuals, and then showering it in a bucket of blood and gore. This is a BLOODY game. I've encountered some frame rate problems here and there, but nothing really game-breaking.

Difficulty: When playing on single player the AI can be tricky. Especially on the gladiator mode. But once you get used to it you can dominate most offline games.

Fun Factor: This is a fun game. And its an addicting game. As you play through the game and win more matches, you will unlock new customization options for your character, such as hair, facial hair, eye color, skin color and hair color. There aren't many options in customization but it is something to mix it up. You will probably play this game on and off for a long time. It does get boring after a while, but not quickly. Its a perfect time waster. Ive played this game once for about three and a half hours straight. If you buy the DLC for $5, you will get three extra classes: Pirate, Ninja, and Giant. All of which add a lot of variety to online matches.

The graphics are very bright and vibrant. Not to mention slick and well designed.

Sound
The music is catchy, and the characters will yell and scream in battle.

Gameplay
Very addictive gameplay. All of the classes will probably be fun to play for most people.

Fun Factor
Its a fun game, but can get very frustrating.

Online
This is the meat of the game. The online is the best feature that this game offers. If you don't like online multiplayer than you may not like this one.

Sony should've had this as one of the free games, so more people could be online.
