The upcoming entry is available in four separate editions, though console players may get more than they bargained for with the 40 Years of WrestleMania Edition. Is WWE 2K24 40 Years of WrestleMania Edition Worth it?
Even for die-hard fans of WWE, the answer is a hard maybe. While the 40 Years of WrestleMania Edition for WWE 2K24 contains a host of content that seems to promise a worthy purchase, some of it may not be useful for most players.
Specifically, we’re talking about its inclusion of game versions for current- and last-gen consoles. This means if you’re playing on PS5, your purchase of this edition will also come with a version compatible with PS4. The same goes for Xbox Series X|S players, who will receive an additional version for Xbox One. Unless you own and regularly use both systems, cross-gen compatibility probably isn’t worth it to shell out the extra cost.
That being said, those who do invest in the 40 Years of WrestleMania Edition will also score plenty of other perks that are certainly enticing. This includes several packs, a Season Pass, and three days of early access. All things considered, if you like what you see, then the $120 pricetag is fair for what you’re getting. The real question is whether you can get the most out of your purchase on your system.
