The Assassin’s Creed Mirage is set to release on October 5th, 2023 and it has been almost 10 years since an AC game has had a multiplayer option. Will we again be able to play with our friends, will the next AC title have the multiplayer option?
During the middle years of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, the multiplayer mode has been a part of gameplay, both as Co Op and competitive Multiplayer. But many players are wondering if the latest AC game will have multiplayer, let’s dive into our guide and find out.
Is Assassin’s Creed Mirage Multiplayer?
Sadly, no Assassin’s Creed Mirage will not have any multiplayer, co op or any other type of social gaming mode, Ubisoft wants this game to be strictly single-player. That is quite a respectable decision by the developers as they want to bring the game back to its original roots.
The last few Assassin’s Creed titles, like AC Odyssey or Valhalla, were more like an action RPG, focusing on weapons and combos. This time expect a return to a more fundamental, stealth-based style, which originally made the game popular. You will take on the role of Basim and explore the streets of 9th-century Baghdad. So, fans who want to play with friends and people online will have to look back at some of the previous titles.

Will AC Mirage Have Multiplayer In The Future?
From Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood to Assassin’s Creed Black Flag fans had a competitive multiplayer mode, in which you try to hunt down other players. Assassin’s Creed Unity had the first and last Co Op mode, in which you teamed up with other players to take on story-based missions and heists.
It is not likely that Ubisoft will give us a Multiplayer option for Assassin’s Creed Mirage in the future, as they stated that for now there will be no DLCs for the game. But the developers are working on a project under the title Codename Invictus which is, allegedly, a multiplayer installment, a part of the new Assassin’s Creed Infinity platform. Time will tell.
