Warzone 2 Season 2 Latest Update Met With Anger

The recent patch notes update for the popular video game, COD, have been released, and they include a number of important changes and updates to the gameplay experience.

Among the most notable changes are adjustments to the Resurgence Timer, which has been reduced for several different score events. Additionally, a number of bug fixes have been implemented to improve overall gameplay and fix issues that caused frustration for players.

However, the community still isn’t happy because it’s not enough.

Warzone 2 Controversial Update in March

One of the most significant changes in the patch notes is the Resurgence Timer adjustment. The time removed from the timer for Armor Break, Enemy Downed, Enemy Eliminated, and Headshot events has been reduced by one to two seconds each.

Here are the numbers from the patch notes:

  • Armor Break: 1 second, down from 2
  • Enemy Downed: 4 seconds, down from 5
  • Enemy Eliminated: 4 seconds, down from 5
  • Headshot: 1 second, down from 2

The backlash is mostly to what isn’t getting fixed. The community is angry at the state of the game and these smaller updates aren’t enough. Warzone 2 is hurting, with multiple players leaving the game, so there need to be significant updates to calm the community.

Gamers expressed their displeasure in responses to the tweet about the update. Each response points out different issues that need fixing.

Players most likely feel like they have less control over their own fate in the game. They don’t have enough time to react to their opponents, and they feel like their skills don’t matter as much, and there are too many bugs for some to really work through. We’ll how this helps or hurts the current player base.

Warzone 2 Other Bug Fixes

The update addresses a range of issues, from preventing players from becoming stuck in certain areas to fixing an exploit that allowed players to enter the Map geography with an ATV on Ashika Island. These fixes will greatly improve the overall player experience and help make the game more enjoyable and fair for everyone.

The patch notes also include updates to fix issues that prevented some Operators from being selectable in Battle Royale and DMZ. This change will help ensure that players can choose their preferred Operators and have a more personalized gameplay experience.

Similarly, the fix for the Quit to Desktop popup that appeared when pressing escape to go back to COD HQ on PC will make it easier for players to navigate the game and avoid unnecessary interruptions.

Maybe a bigger update is coming with time, but for now, players aren’t happy with Warzone 2.
